As significant leaders continued to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), former President Asif Ali Zardari extended his stay in Lahore on Wednesday.

After meeting with Mr. Zardari, leaders from Dera Ghazi Khan, Hafiz Tahir and Hafiz Hashim, joined the PPP. The occasion was attended by former Punjab Chief Minister Dost Muhammad Khosa and PPP South Punjab President Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood.

It was expected that more South Punjabi personalities will join the PPP tomorrow. Mr. Zardari’s visit to Lahore has been prolonged to June 12 due to the meeting of Pakistani political leaders.
