A division bench of the IHC has granted parole to the PTI chief who appeared before it in conformance with the Supreme Court’s orders in the Al-Qadir Trust Case.

ISLAMABAD : Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was granted a two-week parole in the Al-Qadir Trust Case by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

According to the most recent reports, the former prime minister arrived at IHC in accordance with Supreme Court orders.

In the Al-Qadir Case, an IHC division bench presided over by an IHC division bench heard arguments. Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled that Imran Khan’s detention in the aforementioned case was unlawful, whereas IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq had previously ruled that his arrest by Rangers from the court premises was legal.

Unique Bench:

A special division bench has been formed to hear the petition against the detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.

Justice Aamer Farooq, chief justice of the Islamabad High Court, has appointed Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz to hear the petition.

The courtroom was filled with attorneys as Khawaja Haris, Imran Khan’s attorney, entered Courtroom No. 3. The NAB prosecution team reached Courtroom No. 3 as well.
