DERA GHAZI KHAN: According to A News, former state minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Zartaj Gul has been arrested on “corruption” accusations.

Zartaj Guls was supposed to be arrested when the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) squad raided her home, but she wasn’t there.

The PTI leader was repeatedly summoned in connection with corruption investigations, according to the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), but he failed to show up.

Zartaj Gul, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and a former state minister, has been called once more by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), Punjab, on suspicion of “corruption” accusations.

According to information, Zartaj Gul was also called on April 10 but failed to appear before the anti-corruption team. As a result, ACE Punjab has now summoned her once more on April 19 at 10 a.m.

The Punjab anti-corruption squad has again summoned her for tomorrow, May 11, at 10 a.m., after she failed to appear.

She is charged of accepting “bribes” in order to award contracts for various developmental projects at a lesser price to her “frontmen.”

According to the notice, Zartaj Gul and her husband Humayun Akhund used to receive a 10% commission while funding development projects in her district.

According to the Punjab ACE, the pair is also charged with changing development plans at a high expense to the public coffers.
