ISLAMABAD – Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid announced on Tuesday that the government has launched a new service called ‘Fast Track Service,’ which will deliver passports to applicants at their doorstep within 24 hours.
In a statement on the social networking site Twitter, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid stated that passports will henceforth be given within 24 hours under the DGIP Fast Tracking Service.
According to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DG Immigration and Passports), a new service (Fast Track) has been launched to provide passports to applicants within 24 hours of their application.
He said, “We got 1224 applications in the last four days of the testing period and were successful in providing all passports within 24 hours without fail.”
