MULTAN– Monday, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) captured two terrorists in Dera Ghazi Khan during an operation.

The apprehended terrorists were named as Subhanallah Illyas and Masood-ur-Rehman, according to the CTD spokeswoman.

The terrorists were found to be in possession of hand grenades, 1,710 grammes of explosive material, Safety fuse, detonator, and packs of ball-bearings.

The official said that the terrorists belonging to a banned organisation were apprehended based on a tip. An investigation has been initiated after the filing of a FIR against the terrorists.
