ISLAMABAD – On Monday, the price of 24 karat per tola gold fell by Rs 400 and was sold for Rs 123,400 in the local market, down from Rs 123,800 the day before.

The price of a gramme of 24 karat gold fell by Rs 342 to Rs 105,796 from Rs 106,138, while the price of a gramme of 22 karat gold fell to Rs 96,980 from Rs 97,294.

The price of a tola of silver rose by Rs20 to Rs1460, while the price of a ten gramme of silver rose by Rs17.15 to Rs1251.71.

The price of gold on the international market fell by $7, to $1839, from $1846, according to the Jewellers Group.
