KARACHI: Police in Karachi on Sunday filed a new FIR against ARY News anchorperson Arshad Sharif, accusing him of criticising state institutions.

On May 19, around 9 p.m., the case was filed in Malir’s Sharafi Goth police station, with authorities claiming that he was arrested for speaking out against state institutions.
