Asad Majeed, a former Pakistani ambassador to the United States, declared on Saturday that all other Twitter accounts in his name are bogus.

The meeting, according to the NSC statement, reviewed the Pakistani embassy’s correspondence from Washington, and former Pakistani ambassador to the US Asad Majeed attended and briefed the meeting on the background of lettergate.

“It is critical that everyone understands that this is my only Twitter account, and it is verified,” Asad Majeed wrote in his most recent tweet.

“Any tweets sent from other accounts in my name are fake,” he added.
