BAHAWALPUR (APP) : Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, stated Wednesday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) convention in Bahawalpur was the first of many similar gatherings, which will be led by the party’s Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz.

The minister told attendees at the PML-N worker’s convention that national sessions were aimed at reinvigorating the party at the grassroots level via reform.

She asked party members to be disciplined and to listen to Maryam Nawaz’s talk, which included crucial messages from PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif.

According to the minister, Maryam Nawaz recently had throat surgery and physicians urged her to rest, but following her return, she began whirlwind trips for party reform.

She said that today’s gathering was an organisational convention, and that special invitation cards had been sent to party officials and employees.

Thousands of people waited outside the enclosure to get admission, but the goal of the conference was to reorganise the party, she continued.

Saluting the enthusiasm of the party workers, she said that Nawaz Sharif and the party’s top leadership will be present at the convention, therefore discipline was essential.
