According to the senior vice president of the PML-N, the previous government’s IMF deal made the present rise in the price of petroleum products unavoidable.

BAHAWALPUR: Maryam Nawaz, Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-N, has said that the current administration is devoted to reviving the national economy and providing assistance to the ordinary man.

She told the media in Bahawalpur on Thursday that the current hike in petroleum product prices was unavoidable owing to the IMF deal inked by the government.

Despite administering the province for 10 years, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, according to Maryam Nawaz, was unable to improve the Counter Terrorism Department.

She said that the PML N supports free speech and stands behind journalists.

Earlier, in a speech to the social media team, Maryam Nawaz said that via social media platforms, our social team would promote positivity into the public.

She said that the social media team will be enhanced in each area of the country.
