While speaking at a workers’ convention of the Pakistan Muslim League-N in Bahawalpur, the Minister said that previous Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s vibrant personality took the nation out of turmoil. The Minister further said that Ms. Maryam Nawaz, Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-N, has been tasked with leading the party’s campaign as well as reorganising and activating the party. He said that the PML-N was a symbol of development and a guarantee of the country’s prosperity.

Referring to the PML-N workers convention in Bahawalpur, he said that it was an organisational convention that presented an appearance of public gathering that demonstrated the might of the PML-N. “Maryam Nawaz began her party campaign in Bahawalpur to restructure and energise the party,” he said. “She has fought for democracy for a long time,” he remarked.

“The zeal and commitment of PML employees can be observed all around the nation,” he stated.

He went on to say that those who put their belief in Mian Nawaz Sharif’s leadership would have to follow him. “People must stick by and support Maryam Nawaz in order to rescue Pakistan,” he urged.

“The PML-N has undertaken the mission to lift Pakistan out of its crises. We are aware of increases in electricity and natural gas tariffs, as well as price increases in petroleum goods “He went on to say that the PML-N-led administration was not to blame for the current wave of price increases. Imran Khan was to blame, since he signed a tough deal with the IMF. He said that the present administration spared the nation from a default-like scenario.

“Imran Khan and his dictatorship negotiated a particular arrangement with the IMF that caused price increases,” he added, adding that it was Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N that made Pakistan a nuclear deterrent and brought the nation out of crisis.

He said that Nawaz Sharif eradicated terrorism from the nation and put a stop to power outages. He said that Nawaz Sharif was deposed by a plot in order to instal Imran Khan and his friends in power.
