KARACHI – The Sindh government declared a winter holiday for public and private schools and institutions across the state on Thursday.

According to a resolution made by the provincial education department’s steering committee, schools and institutions will be closed for winter break from December 20 to January 1, 2023.

Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah stated that the decision was made during a meeting of the sub-committee, which also resolved to reopen educational institutions across Sindh on January 2, 2023.
