Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, is scheduled to visit Balochistan on Thursday, May 18.

According to sources, Iranian President Ibrahim Raeesi would greet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Pakistan-Iran border crossing in Pishin, Balochistan.

According to reports, President Raeesi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will jointly inaugurate a 100 megawatt electrical transmission line from Iran to Pakistan.

According to sources, Pakistan now imports 200 megawatts of power from Iran, but this capacity may be increased to 500 megawatts. Pakistan has been importing power from Iran since 2002 to supply the Makran region of Balochistan.
