An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Wednesday sentenced PTI leader Mehmoodur Rasheed to jail on a 14-day judicial remand after rejecting police’s request for an extension in his physical remand in the case of torching and vandalising Lahore’s Shadman police station.

Previously, after completing a two-day physical remand, the police presented Mehmood in court.

The case was handled by ATC judge Ijaz Ahmad Butter.

When requesting an extension in the detention of the PTI leader, Investigation Officer (IO) Inspector Shaukat said that the police needed to undertake his Photogrammetric test.
