MULTAN: The FIA Cybercrime Wing in Multan detained a suspect from Vehari on Friday after receiving reports that he had been engaged in utilising internet communication to allegedly harass and blackmail women.

Mohsin Raza, the son of Iftikhar Shah, was taken into custody from Vehari by a raiding squad that included ASI Zeeshan Khan and Sub Inspector Khalid Gujjar. According to the complaint, the accused was using Whatsapp to harass and extort his mother and sister and had offensive images and videos.

In accordance with provisions 21, 22, and 24 of the PECA 2016 and R/W 506(b) PPC, the FIA CCRC Multan filed a complaint against the accused.
