TOBA TEK SINGH: On Friday, a farmer was died after being hurt in a fodder cutting machine in Chak 346-JB, Gojra.
Nawazish Ali was crushed and severely injured when his clothing were entangled in the washing machine. He was brought to the Gojra Tehsil Headquarters hospital, where he died from his injuries.
In addition, two brothers were badly injured when their competitors opened fire on them in Faisalabad on Friday night near Abdullah Chowk.
According to authorities, Awais and Umar Riaz were ambushed at their house in the Ilyas Garden neighbourhood.
FATHER KILLER: On Friday at Faisalabad’s Chak 396-GB, a young man allegedly tortured to death his father over a monetary disagreement.
According to police, Khan Muhammad had arguments with his father, Laal Khan, and then attacked him with wooden bars, leaving him gravely injured and brought to Tandlianwala THQ hospital, where he died.
The offender was apprehended by Tandlianwala Saddar police.
Also on Friday, the Tandlianwala City Police launched a case against unknown persons for the murder of an administrator of Tandlianwala’s Jamia Umme Salma Albanat in Islampura.
According to a FIR filed under sections 302, 201, and 34 of the PPC, complainant Umar Farooq stated that his father, Qari Muhammad Ashraf Anjum, had been missing from the seminary since December 3, and that his corpse was discovered buried in the seminary’s backyard wrapped in a polythene bag.
He said his father was tortured to death.
The police are investigating the incident.
