BAHAWALPUR : A Thalassemia camp was held at Milad Chowk in the Chani Goth area of Bahawalpur district to collect blood for youngsters suffering from the condition.

According to a news release released here, a medical team from Bahawal Victoria Hospital (one of the country’s major public hospitals) came to the camp and collected blood for the youngsters suffering from Thalassemia.

According to the press release, a big number of individuals gave blood. A number of youngsters with Thalassemia and anaemia disorders have been enrolled with the Thalassemia Centre at BVH Bahawalpur and have received free blood from the blood bank.
