LAHORE – Police have charged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Zubair Khan Niazi and Ibad Farooq with assaulting police cell phones.
Terrorism and vandalism have been added to the case filed at Police Station Civil Lines in the provincial capital on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Afzal Virk.
Mian Ibad Farooq and a group of 70 to 80 persons assaulted and destroyed the police mobile on Mall Road. The front screen of the police phone was also smashed during the incident, according to the FIR. According to the police, Zubair Niazi, Mian Ibad, and other suspects are also engaged in vandalism.
