LAHORE — The meeting between Asif Ali Zardari, the Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the former President of Pakistan, and the Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Siraj-ul-Haq, has been postponed owing to his poor health.
In Mansura, Asif Ali Zardari and a five-member team were scheduled to meet with Siraj-ul-Haq. The meeting was postponed because the PPP Co-chairman was hospitalised due to his deteriorating health.
The meeting has been postponed, according to a representative for Jamaat-e-Islami, and the two leaders will meet in a few days.
