According to A News, a lady called Ramsha has filed for ‘khula’ (women’s right to divorce) at Lahore’s family court from her husband Gohar Ali, whose whereabouts have been unknown for the past seven years.

The lady filed a case through Muhammad Aashiq Advocate, stating that she married Gohar Ali 10 years ago and that her husband left home roughly seven years ago to travel overseas.

Ramsha, a resident of Mughalpura, stated in the family civil judge’s court that she was ‘fed up’ with all the hard work and now wants a divorce to live happily ever after.

The court issued a notice and summoned Gohar Ali’s parents to explain the matter.

The hearing is scheduled on January 10th.
