22,000 security personnel will be stationed in the federal capital as part of the government’s preparations to deal with the PTI’s protracted march.

According to reports, the Islamabad administration conveyed the ideas to the Interior Ministry after consulting with police personnel.

To deal with the PTI demonstrators, 8,000 Punjab Constabulary officers, 2,000 Anti-Riot Force and Sindh Police officers, as well as 500 women security personnel, have been dispatched.
