On Monday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) proposed former Chief Justice Justice Gulzar Ahmed for the interim prime ministership.

In a recent tweet, former federal minister for communications and broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan suggested the former CJP’s name for the PTI’s core committee after consultation and consent in response to President Dr Arif Alvi’s letter.
