The PPP has asked the President to disregard any suggestions made by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has advised President Arif Alvi not to accept Prime Minister Imran Khan’s advice since the majority of National Assembly members had already lost trust in him.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari presided over a meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party’s core committee Thursday evening in Islamabad’s Zardari House, which was attended by the party’s senior leadership.

Following the opposition parties’ vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan, the debate focused on recent political developments.

The gathering congratulated Pakistan’s people on their triumph, stressing that the elected Prime Minister had lost his majority and mandate, and that this reality will be legally acknowledged as part of the democratic, constitutional, and political process as the Constitution evolved in the coming days.

The meeting found that the Prime Minister had lost all moral authority and mandate to issue instructions to the bureaucracy, which was no longer compelled to execute his directives, given that he (the Prime Minister) had already lost the trust of the majority of National Assembly members.

The meeting also told President Dr. Arif Alvi not to listen to the Prime Minister’s advice.
