The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) decided on Saturday to participate in rallies planned by PDM president Maulana Fazlur Rehman outside the Supreme Court.
The decision was made during a meeting presided over by PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz and attended by PML-N MPAs and other leaders at the PML-N secretariat in Model Town.
The protest tactic was discussed inside the party.
Previously, the Islamabad High Court ruled that PTI chief Imran Khan could not be detained in any case until Monday (May 15), a day after the Supreme Court ruled that Mr Khan’s detention in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case was “illegal,” prompting Mr Rehman to protest and sit-in outside the top court.
