Ibrahim Murad, the caretaker local government minister for Punjab, has declared that the state is moving towards digital municipal governance.

In order to make it simpler for residents to submit applications, file complaints about municipal services, and pay fees and utilities, he said that online platforms and mobile apps are being built.

Murad presided over talks about the use of these new technologies during a meeting to examine the development in digitising the Punjab Local Government Department.

According to him, the project is predicted to improve public services and streamline government processes.
