KARACHI — Workers from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) went to register for the Jail Bharo Tehreek (JBT) on Sunday, ahead of PTI president Imran Khan’s appeal to launch the campaign on February 22.
The party has set up seven registration centres in Karachi’s seven districts. Opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, along with PTI activists, enrolled for the march.
Mr. Sheikh said that it showed people’s passion rather than a relief camp. “No one can handle this passion,” he continued. He said that the PTI will bury its political opponents before imprisoning Mr Khan.
