The Jahangir Tareen group of disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officials announced on Friday that they will not attend the ruling party’s March 27 rally.

In Lahore, the provincial capital, the Tareen Group held a consultative meeting.

The members told Jahangir Tareen that it was not up to the provincial ministers to deal with our problems, and that only the federal team or the Prime Minister would have dialogues.

According to people familiar with the matter, the delegation decided not to attend the PTI conference in Islamabad during the conversation.
