A child was killed on Monday in Sukkur after a long-running quarrel between two groups descended into violence.

Two groups of the Kharos clan engaged in a physical altercation over a long-standing disagreement in the vicinity of Bagadji, which is under the jurisdiction of the airport police station. The victim, according to reports, was just freed from custody.

After being freed, the victim was on his way back to his hamlet when the opposing group opened fire, killing him there and then. After then, the suspects were successful in leaving the area.

According to police sources, the conflict between the two sides is ongoing and has lately claimed the life of another guy.
