LIAQUATPUR – In a supposed police confrontation, a dacoit was slain by his comrades who opened fire on him.

According to police accounts, a dacoit known for thefts in neighbouring areas was murdered after a confrontation with the police station Shedani Sharif, while others fled.

Police in Rahimyar Khan and Rajanpur were looking for the deceased. He was apprehended after the authorities were alerted that the accused was loading a ship.

According to the authorities, illicit firearms, motorcycles, and livestock were confiscated from the deceased.
