Life-threatening kite flying continues, with one person died as a result of a string around his neck.

LAHORE – Despite government assertions that it has cracked down on kite-makers, the dangerous game of kite flying continues in Lahore.

At Shalimar Link Road, a 19-year-old man was killed after a chemically treated kite string sliced his throat. Despite CM and CCPO warnings, the violent game of kite flying persists.

According to accounts, Asad, a 19-year-old victim, was a resident of Mushtaq Colony. Asad was riding his bike when the kite’s rope cut his throat, and he died on the spot after suffering a gash on his neck.

Furthermore, there was disturbance and sadness among family members when the young man’s body arrived at his house as a result of the unfortunate tragedy.

Citizens complained to the media that despite the kite flying prohibition, authorities appear to be powerless to halt the deadly activity.

Several people have died as a result of kite flying, including young children, over the years.
