At least three terrorists were killed in an encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on the outskirts of Quetta in the early hours of Friday.
Details indicate that CTD officials conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on the outskirts of Quetta, during which militants hiding in the vicinity opened fire.
Three terrorists were killed as a consequence of law enforcement officials responding fire. According to a CTD official, the assassination of Levies and police personnel was carried out by the deceased terrorists.
According to the statement, deceased terrorists were involved in terrorist operations in Balochistan as well. Terrorists who were slain were also found with hand grenades and other weapons.
