MULTAN, (Bahawalpur News) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has installed 415 kilometres of high tension (HT) lines and 51 kilometres of low tension (LT) lines as part of its mission to provide best voltage, early new connections, and system upgradation to consumers during the current fiscal year 2022-23.
According to Mepco sources, the total length of MEPCO’s HT lines in the region is 81,968 kilometres.
Mepco has also erected 51 kilometres of Low Tension (LT) lines, bringing the overall length of LT lines in the region to 50,574 kilometres, according to Mepco sources.
From July 2022 to October 2022, Mepco installed 38 kilometres of high-tension and 8.4 kilometres of low-tension lines in Multan circle, 33.4 kilometres of high-tension and 9.5 kilometres of low-tension lines in DG Khan, 50 kilometres of high-tension lines in Vehari, 65.7 kilometres of high-tension lines and 13 kilometres of low-tension lines in Bahawalpur, 80.3 kilometres of high-tension lines and 12.7 kilometres of low-tension lines in Sahiwal, 27.5
