For the first time in Pakistan’s history, Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that development projects had begun in Punjab.

Prime Minister Imran Khan announced this in Lahore on Thursday during a meeting with PTI leaders Sardar Asif Nakai and Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bukhari.

Topics such as the political situation and ongoing development initiatives of the provincial ministries were covered during the conference.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that backward areas had been neglected in the past, and that development of these areas is the current administration’s top priority. He also added that in the past, Punjab’s entire development budget was restricted to a few cities.
