A fire broke out late Tuesday night at an illegal oil and gas business in Multan’s popular residential district.

The fire quickly spread and destroyed numerous nearby businesses. At least eight fire department vehicles and rescue teams arrived on the site and extinguished the fire in a three-hour hectic effort.

According to rescue teams, there were no fatalities as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire, according to emergency personnel, is yet unknown. Meanwhile, DC Multan has been notified about the occurrence.
