On the local market, the price of 24 carat per tola gold jumped by Rs 100 and was sold for Rs 130,250 on Friday, up from Rs 130,150 the previous day.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of a gramme of 24 karat gold jumped by Rs 85 to Rs 111,668 from Rs 111,583, while the price of a gramme of 22 carat gold rose to Rs 102,362 from Rs 102,284.

A tola and a gramme of silver remain constant at Rs1,500 and Rs1,286 per tola, respectively.
