During a secret meeting, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Shehbaz Sharif requested Jahangir Tareen’s backing for a no-confidence resolution.
According to reports, the two leaders met for many hours, and the Opposition Leader of the National Assembly gave Jahangir Tareen the opportunity to cooperate with the PML-N even after the no-confidence vote was passed.
On the other side, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain slammed the opposition’s no-trust effort on Saturday, saying they couldn’t even establish their Senate majority.
In an interview with the media in Pind Dadan Khan, the minister stated that the no-trust move will fail.
Imran Khan’s voice, he added, is powerful, and his views on Islamophobia and the area are heard throughout the world.
