On Thursday, the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) apprehended six Indian fishing boats and 36 crew members who were poaching in Pakistani waters.
The Indian fishing boat was transferred to Karachi for further legal action against the poaching of the rich resources of the Indus Delta, which is a breach of Pakistani law and the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
In one such case, in January of this year, the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) apprehended seven Indian fishermen and seized a boat after they were detected violating the country’s territorial water limits.
