The price of 24 carat per tola gold increased by Rs 100 and was sold for Rs 130,250 on Friday, up from Rs 130,150 the previous day on the local market.

The price of 10 gramme 24 karat gold rose by Rs 85 to Rs 111,668 from Rs 111,583, while the price of 10 gramme 22 carat rose to Rs 102,362 from Rs 102,284, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The price of a tola and a gramme of silver remained unchanged at Rs1,500 and Rs1,286 a tola, respectively.

According to the organisation, the price of gold in the international market fell by $10 and was traded at $1,932 vs its sale price of $1,942.
