On Friday, a truck toppled on Saidpur road near Alipur, killing at least four people.

According to rescue personnel, the accident wounded 30 individuals who were on their way to a wedding. The injured were treated on the scene by the rescue and residents.

According to authorities, the collision was caused by excessive speed.The injured and deceased have been sent to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Another incident occurred when a tanker transporting milk from Okara to Lahore toppled owing to a blown tyre. The driver perished on the spot as a result of the large vehicle flipping.

The driver’s body was sent to a hospital by the rescue squad.
