KARACHI: A suspected target killer belonging to the Sunni Tehreek (ST) was caught by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi on Monday, according to the CTD.

According to CTD in charge Chaudhry Safdar, the gunman, Fazlur Rehman aka Fazlu, was caught in an action in New Karachi. According to the CTD in charge, the gunman acknowledged to killing police officers and other political activists during the first investigation.

The captured shooter, according to Chaudhry Safdar, was a member of the ST’s Lines Area Unit Area and was also involved in the 2011 bloodshed.
