On Monday, Pakistan’s 23rd Prime Minister, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, reacted to the “threat letter” and said that he would hold an in-camera session of Parliament’s Security Committee.
In his address to the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif, the PML-N president who defeated Shah Mahmood Qureshi with 174 votes, called an in-camera session of Parliament’s Security Committee. He requested that all military leaders, including the Foreign Secretary and the US Ambassador, attend.
If there is sufficient proof or our involvement in this matter, I would quit as Prime Minister in an instant, stated Shehbaz Sharif.
