Security troops and militants exchanged fire in South Waziristan’s Angoor Ada district, killing two terrorists and recovering firearms and ammo. In the exchange of fire, Major Shujaat Hussain and soldier Imran Khan were killed.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations(ISPR), security officers and terrorists exchanged fire in the Angoor Ada district of South Waziristan on the evenings of April 11 and 12.

According to ISPR, the firearms and ammo of the assassinated terrorists were also recovered. The extremists slain were involved in terrorist attacks against security officers. Imran Khan, a 27-year-old Naseerabad soldier, was killed in combat.
