At least five terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces near Hoshab in Balochistan province on Friday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Terrorists targeted a security checkpoint in the general region of Hoshab in Balochistan on Thursday and Friday night, according to the ISPR. The security personnel were able to repel the distant fire attack.
The fugitive terrorists were tracked into the neighbouring Balore mountains using aerial surveillance, according to the ISPR.
Following that, a significant exchange of fire between militants and security personnel occurred during an encircling operation initiated to stop fleeing terrorists. Five terrorists were killed in the conflict, and weapons and ammunition were also found to have been hidden. The ISPR reported that the operation was still following a few terrorists who had fled into nearby locations.
