After the incident in Karachi, security is on high alert in Balochistan: IG Police

HUB: Balochistan’s inspector general of police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, said on Monday that security had been stepped up after the terrorist assault in Karachi. During his speech at Saddar Thana’s opening ceremony, he made these statements. Zahid Saleem, an additional Chief Secretary (Home), and other top officials were also present.

After the terrorist strike at the office of the Karachi police chief the other day, Mr. Sheikh said that the security of police stations and other significant offices has been boosted. He said that 1,000 police officers and policemen gave their life to preserve the peace in Balochistan.

Law and order will be maintained across Balochistan with the use of contemporary technology thanks to the establishment of a Karachi-style CPLC in Balochistan, which will be based in the Hub. He said that coach owners are absolutely required to not retain Iranian oil in the passenger buses; otherwise, any passenger bus discovered to be smuggling Iranian oil would be penalised. This was in reference to the smuggling of Iranian diesel and gasoline in the passenger buses. They will face harsh legal consequences.

He remarked, “I have instructed the police to act immediately against those who sneak in passenger buses.” Balochistan has had incidents brought on by the transport of oil in passenger buses, resulting in the loss of human life. He issued a warning that playing with human life would not be permitted.
