QUETTA – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claims to have apprehended and retrieved the jacket of a would-be female suicide bomber.
According to a CTD spokeswoman, the suspect was apprehended near a park in Quetta’s Satellite Town during an operation against the proscribed Baloch Liberation Front in the region (BLF).
The operation was carried out after intelligence authorities obtained information that the suspected attacker, Mahbal, wife of Bebagar alias Nadeem, planned to carry out a trademark suicide assault against major installations and law enforcement organisations in the province capital.
