THE QUETTA – In a bomb near a police truck in the Balali neighbourhood, a lady was killed and 22 others, including 16 officers, were injured, according to witnesses and authorities.

Police and emergency personnel were on the site right away to help with the rescue. 16 Balochistan police officers also sustained numerous injuries, according to the police.

A police truck and two other vehicles were reportedly damaged in the explosion. The injured were taken to the hospitals by ambulance. Hospitals in Quetta declared a state of emergency.
