ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has sought the Supreme Court of Pakistan to obtain a copy of the presidential reference on Article 63 (A) verdict in order to deliberate on a disqualification referral against 25 PTI dissident MPAs.

According to sources, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has called a crucial meeting of the ECP to discuss the Supreme Court’s decision on a presidential reference.

“In considering the referral against dissident PTI MPAs, the Supreme Court’s ruling will be used as guidance,” they stated.
