LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to add former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s family name on the Exit Control List (ECL).

According to sources, the PTI leader’s family would be placed on the exit control list (ECL) by the anti-corruption body.

The anti-corruption body is now investigating the assets beyond income case against former Punjab Chief Minister Buzdar.

According to sources, the NAB’s provincial branch requested that Buzdar’s family members be placed on ECL. The agency had also written to the headquarters requesting that the former chief minister’s family members be placed on the no-fly list.

According to reports, the interior ministry would be asked to put Buzdar’s family on ECL.

Usman Buzdar is accused of erecting a ‘illegal’ bus stop on government property in Muzaffargarh.

Usman Buzdar was called many times by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for the investigation and was requested to complete a 30-point questionnaire, but he ignored the summons.

Earlier this month, an anti-corruption court denied temporary release to former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Buzdar due to his failure to appear. An anti-corruption judge revoked the temporary release when the former chief minister failed to appear in court.
