Two police officers were killed and another was injured in an incident on Friday in Quetta’s Eastern bypass zone.
According to sources, the incident happened near Bhoosa Mandi in Quetta’s Eastern bypass zone when suspected armed assailants sprayed gunfire at police personnel, killing two of them on the spot.
Shortly after the incident, security and rescue workers rushed on the site and transported the bodies of two killed police officers, ASI Rehmatullah and Constable Ali Asghar, to the hospital.
The cops were on routine patrol in the area when they were ambushed by terrorists, according to police officials. The attackers were able to flee the scene following the incident.
