LAHORE- Former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said on Tuesday that he was imprisoned in a space where even his knees were restrained.

The president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) told the media that he hadn’t changed out of his shalwar-kameez in the preceding 10 days and hadn’t sought medical assistance.

He said that no medical facilities were made available to him. The cardiac examinations, he said, were still in their early stages.

While serving as Punjab’s chief minister, Mr. Elahi reassured the population that he had never treated anybody unjustly or seen anyone as his rival.

He said that because of his affiliation with the PTI, he was coping with these circumstances and issues. But I’ll still be a PTI member, he added. He said that many people were playing the double.
